What I do

Speeches +
Speeches, keynotes, articles and publications. I turn unloved drafts, rough outlines or rushed notes into clear, confident speeches that sound like you — persuasive, polished, and ready to deliver.

Bids
From major bids to smaller proposals, I help you persuade under pressure. When you need to make a strong, credible case, I sharpen your structure, strengthen your argument, and make the value you bring unmistakable.

Strategy
Chair’s memos, strategic notes and stakeholder messages. I help leaders refine ideas into a clear narrative: the argument you should make, the position you should take, and how to communicate it.
How it works
Consistently good outcomes depend on process. Mine is honed over many years with clients and helps me quickly identify what you need. This is a collaboration and the more closely I understand what you have done, where you have been and what you are aiming for, the better the calibration.
But I also know that sometimes there isn’t much time, and we do the best we can with the deadline you have. For example, when improving a draft speech, article or strategic outline, the process looks like this:
- Introductory call (20 mins) – We discuss your requirements, audience, and deadline. There is no obligation following this call.
- First draft – I identify what’s working in an existing draft and what needs to change.
- Rewrite & polish – From your notes and a second call, I sharpen the language and improve speaker flow.
- Delivery – You get a clean version ready to deliver (plus optional tweaks or rehearsal support).
You get is a personalised, discrete service at a fraction of the price of agencies with a view of the Thames.
